How do I connect my social media accounts to Votel?
- Go to Calendar (Calendars), then Social Media.
- Click Manage accounts.
- Connect all of your social media accounts.
You can also add accounts under Settings, then Social Media, or use the option to connect your platforms when you create a new post. You can also ask the blue orb AI helper to take you to the page.
The accounts themselves must be created manually on each network first. There is no easy way to automate account creation. Create and connect every account you can, for example a Facebook page, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Threads. Bluesky is supported along with many other networks. Use profiles that match your brand: connect existing profiles if they match, otherwise create new ones. A LinkedIn profile with connections is worth connecting too.
Connecting social media is not only for posting. It also lets you run comment to DM automations and reply to comments and DMs. Each social media integration shows small icons that indicate what is possible with that specific integration. To have an AI agent reply to incoming messages, turn on the channels (Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, X and others) in the agent and connect them there.
Once your accounts are connected you can manage everything from one place instead of logging in to many sites, post manually, or have the AI assistant create and schedule your content.
